On 28th February 2011, I met in a mini bus accident at Mt Gay, which has left me crippled for life. The bus I was in plunged into the river (over 50 feet deep) and I broke my spine in two places. Thank God for His blessings that I’m still alive today. I never thought that paying contributions to the NIS was so important because now I am reaping the benefits of it; I’m now receiving an invalidity pension and all my medical expenses were paid. My next hope is that I would be able to walk again.
